All payments on CardNexus are processed securely through Stripe, one of the world’s leading payment platforms. Here’s what you can use to pay.

The payment methods shown at checkout depend on your region and device. For example, Apple Pay only appears on Apple devices, and SEPA is only available for EUR transactions.
Security
Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — CardNexus never sees or stores your card details. Every transaction is protected by:
- PCI DSS compliance — Stripe meets the highest level of payment security certification
- 3D Secure (3DS) — For eligible transactions, you may be asked to verify with your bank (e.g., a one-time code or biometric confirmation). This is an extra layer of fraud prevention.
- Encryption — All payment data is encrypted in transit and at rest
If your card issuer requires 3D Secure verification, you’ll see a pop-up during checkout asking you to confirm the payment with your bank. This is normal and helps protect you from unauthorized charges.
Escrow Protection
When you pay at checkout, your money is captured but not sent to the seller. It’s held securely by CardNexus until your order is delivered and the safety period passes. If something goes wrong, your funds are available for a refund. Learn more about how this works in How CardNexus Protects Buyers.
