Reporting a User
If you encounter suspicious activity, policy violations, or behavior that makes you uncomfortable, we want to hear about it. Reports help us keep the marketplace safe for everyone.
We’re still building out the in-app reporting system. For now, please report any issues directly by email — the process is described below.
What You Can Report

| Fake or misleading listings | Wrong card photos, inaccurate condition descriptions, prices that seem like bait |
| Counterfeit products | Fake or resealed cards listed as authentic |
| Suspicious behavior | Accounts that seem designed to manipulate the marketplace (e.g., fake reviews, self-dealing) |
| Harassment or abuse | Threatening messages, inappropriate language, or intimidation in order chat |
| Policy violations | Any activity that violates CardNexus’s Terms of Use |
How to Report
Until the in-app reporting feature is available, please send an email to support@cardnexus.com with the following information:
- Your CardNexus username
- The username of the user you’re reporting
- The reason for your report — select one of the categories above
- Details and evidence — screenshots, links to specific listings, message excerpts, or anything else that would help our team investigate
What Happens After You Report
- Your report is reviewed by our team — every report is read by a real person
- We investigate — this may include reviewing the reported user’s account, listings, transaction history, and any evidence you provided
- We take appropriate action — depending on the severity, this can range from a warning to a permanent suspension
For privacy reasons, we can’t share the specific outcome of an investigation with the reporter. But rest assured — every report is taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.
What Actions Can CardNexus Take?
Depending on the findings, we may:
- Issue a warning to the user
- Remove specific listings that violate our policies
- Temporarily suspend the account pending further review
- Permanently ban the account for serious or repeated violations
- Place a fund hold on the user’s pending payouts if financial fraud is suspected
CardNexus reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates our Terms of Use, at our sole discretion.
Reporting Is Confidential
Your identity as a reporter is never shared with the person you’re reporting. You can report without worrying about retaliation.
